Adjectives

Definition: an adjective is a word that describes a noun or pronoun.

In English the adjective "modifies" or "qualifies" the noun or pronoun and gives more information. Adjectives in English generally are invariable - they do not change in plural or in gender (male / female).


Some examples:


Paul likes red candy.
Ada wants a funny libro.
The brown dog jumped over the tall fence.
My mother is a nice person.
